Slow Food at Cibus Connect 2019

Slow Food is an international no-profit organization aiming to defend regional traditions, good food, gastronomic pleasure and a slow pace of life. the movement has evolved to embrace a comprehensive approach to food that recognizes the strong connections between plate, planet, people, politics and culture. Today Slow Food represents a global movement involving thousands of projects and millions of people in over 160 countries.

Over the years, Slow Foodhas formed a large network with over 1500 local groups, 2400 food communities,  100.000 partners, 250.000 local producers and 100 partner companies  whose support contribute  to the realization of numerous projects carried out around the world out by the Association.

After the 2017 positive experience, a Slow Food Area will also be present in Cibus Connect 2019, managed by  Slow Food Promozione Srl società benefit, company owned 100%  by Slow Food Italia that has been organizing  Salone del Gusto in Turin (today Terra Madre Salone del Gusto). The area will host a selection of products from all italian regions . Moreover, a large show cooking area will allow the exhibitors to prepare and serve tastings of their products . 

The collaboration between Slow Food and Fiere di Parma was  created to support the small and medium companies who wish to export on those markets that will acknowledge their standards and their work, looking forward to a quality product good  for the earth and good to eat.
