As part of the promotional policy defined by the MAECI for the strengthening of Italian international fairs, the Italian Trade Agency, Fiere di Parma and Federalimentare renew their long-lasting cooperation organizing a special program for international guests (buyers and key decision-makers of retailers, importers, distributors, and representatives of the Ho.Re.Ca sector) invited to Cibus 2021 aimed at supporting the internationalization of the Italian agri-food sector.
In light of the emergency due to the spread of the COVID-19 and the reprogramming of the XXth edition of Cibus, over the last year, the Italian Trade Agency, Fiere di Parma and Federalimentare have continued to work on maintaining a high qualitative and quantitative standard about incoming buyers’ profiles, in order to suit companies’, stakeholders’ and institutional partners’ expectations.
For the ongoing CIBUS edition, all the promotional activities have been enhanced on the occasion of the events scheduled in the Agenzia ICE trade fair calendar (including Partenariat Trophées de l’Innovation LSA Paris 2019, Biofach 2020, Gulfood Dubai 2020 and 2021) and advertising actions for the promotion of the Cibus brand have been boosted towards target countries such as France, United States, United Kingdom, and China. Thanks to these efforts, about 2000 Italian food companies will be exhibiting in the food show and buyers will have the opportunity to visit some of the most important firms of the Italian agri-food context based in the Food Valley.
CIBUS will also host “FOOD INNOVATION START-UP @CIBUS 2021” with the support of Fiere di Parma, Federalimentare, Le Village-Crédit Agricole, University of Parma, and the Italian Trade Agency. A dedicated area for innovative food & beverage start-ups that will have the chance to discuss topics about the future of the agri-food sector, introduce new professional figures, and show innovative sustainable business models.
During September 1 and 2, the Trade Analysts from 11 ITA Offices abroad – in particular from the United Arab Emirates, Canada, USA, Macedonia, Russia, Slovenia, Kazakhstan, France, Germany, and Scandinavia – will be glad to provide assistance and first-time market information to visitors and exhibitors in the International Buyers Lounge. Each of them will also make a country presentation for his own respective market, as shown in the calendar below:
