My Business Cibus, the search engine for Italian food

Aicod, the technological platform launched with Cibus puts in touch producers, suppliers and buyers from around the world

3,000 businesses present, 2,000 products listed and as many as 10,000 buyers of the sector involved. These are some of the figures for My Business Cibus, the new platform created by Aicod for Fiere di Parma, designed to allow professional operators to get to know and select all the products presented by Cibus’ exhibitors, including the latest entries, 365 days a year.

Aicod, the Web Agency in which Fiere di Parma holds a stake, has done a remarkable job in developing innovative digital services and network strategies. Each product posted on the websites of the exhibitors has been indexedto provide the buyers with quick and simple integrated information. My Business Cibus, introduced by Fiere di Parma and Federalimentare with the announcement of the rescheduling of the International Food Exhibition in May 2021, is already operational on line.

How does My Business Cibus work? Buyers access the platform with a search on the product they are interested in, the business name or the region. It can also be done by selecting the product category: from ready meals to health food or products for children, frozen foods, meat, coffee, pasta and many more. After selecting the product or the company, detailed specifications with useful information are displayed. For specific requests or for purchases, buyers can login and communicate directly with the producer via chat, finding the supplier best suited to meet their needs. For those who wish it, a personal consultant is also available.

My Business Cibus will support Cibus for the 2021 edition, and it is the first step of the My Business Platform application, a platform designed by Aicod to create virtual catalogues for various businesses, multiplying online transactions by offering direct contacts between producers and buyers. It is a powerful search engine that holds thousands of spider indexed products from the companies’ internet sites and makes them available to international buyers. This tool can also be used by virtual exhibitions, a solution that nowadays, following the health emergency due to the spread of Covid-19, has become more relevant than ever.
